Loved the Spinach Powder!

Oh my goodness, I am so happy with my order! I got the Spinach Powder and it is fantastic for smoothies. It mixes in so well and adds a great nutritional boost without changing the flavor too much. I will definitely be stocking up on more things next time. Highly recommend them!

Always reliable, great quality

I've ordered from Harmony House several times now, mostly for their dehydrated vegetables like the carrots and onions. This latest order, a big bag of Dehydrated Sweet Corn, was just as good as the last. Consistency is key for me, and they always deliver on quality. It's why I keep coming back.

Decent beans, but slow delivery

I ordered some Black Beans and Lentils for my emergency pantry. The quality of the beans themselves seems good; they rehydrated nicely and tasted fine in a soup. However, the delivery took longer than I expected, around 8 business days, which felt a bit slow. Customer service was polite when I inquired, but didn't offer much beyond the tracking update. Overall, good product, but the shipping could be quicker.

Solid products, room for small tweaks

I recently picked up a Freeze Dried Fruit Sampler and some Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP Chunks) to try out. Ordering was straightforward on their site; no real issues there. Shipping took about 5 days to reach me in California, which was within the estimate. The freeze-dried fruit was excellent, very flavorful and rehydrated well for my oatmeal. The TVP chunks were also good for a chili recipe. I did have a question about rehydration ratios for the TVP, and their customer service responded within a day with helpful instructions. My only minor gripe was the packaging for the TVP, while resealable, felt a little flimsy compared to some other brands I've used. Overall, good products and decent service, I'd consider them again.

Good value on the Backpacking Kit

I was looking for some dehydrated meals for a camping trip and found their Backpacking Kit. The price seemed decent, especially with a small discount code I found. It included a good variety of things. For what I paid, and considering the convenience, it felt like a worthwhile purchase. Happy with the overall value.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes to, say, California? Need to get some stuff before a trip.

M Mia 1 month ago
From my experience, usually about 5-7 business days to the west coast. I'd give it at least a week to be safe.

Ordered to SoCal last month, got it in 6 days. They're pretty consistent afaik.

I'm looking at their emergency kits, but Mountain House is also an option. How does Harmony House compare to Mountain House in terms of quality or ingredients?

R Rachel 2 months ago
Harmony House tends to focus more on individual ingredients like just carrots or just beans, so you're building your own meals. Mountain House is more about complete, pre-made meals. Both are good, but for raw ingredients, HHF probably wins.

I think Harmony House generally has less 'junk' ingredients, if that makes sense. More straight-up veggies without a bunch of added stuff. Mountain House can be a bit saltier or have more fillers in their full meals.

Hey, thinking about grabbing some of the dehydrated veggies for camping. Do they actually taste good after rehydrating, or is it just mush?

S Sophie W. 2 months ago
Yeah, they're surprisingly decent. I use the carrots and corn in stews all the time. Not like fresh, obviously, but way better than I expected. They hold their shape pretty well.

I've had good luck with the bell peppers and onions. Just follow the rehydration instructions on the bag, takes a bit but they plump up nicely. Definitely not mushy unless you overdo it.

Is there usually a first-time buyer discount or a free shipping code floating around? Trying to save a few bucks on my first order.

C Chris 2 months ago
Yeah, I think if you sign up for their newsletter you get a code for your first purchase. Check their site, usually pops up.

Pretty sure they do free shipping if your order is over a certain amount, like 99 bucks or something. I usually just try to hit that threshold.
